Underbody Armor
Every Wrangler is fortified with skid plates to help protect critical components. Heavy-gauge steel skid plates defend important equipment like the fuel tank and transfer case while a skid bar helps safeguard the automatic transmission oil pan.
Keep your Tyres on the Trail
This system, which is standard on the Rubicon, allows you to disconnect your sway bar, allowing your front wheels to drop and compress, resulting in improved suspension articulation on tough off-road environments.
4x4 Systems
The standard Selec-Trac 4WD automatically switchs between 2WD & 4WD to maximise efficiency on roads and traction on harher terrain. The available full-time Rock-Trac 4x4 System gives you outstanding control and torque, offering impressive off-road performance with a 4:1 low-gear ratio that delivers a 77:1 crawl ratio
Heavy-Duty Full-Float Rear Axel
The design of the heavy-duty full-float rear axle transfers the weight of the vehicle from its axle shaft to a spindle mounted to a wheel hub and rides on tapered roller bearings. The result? Increased strength, durability and performance, compared to semi-float rear axles. Featured on the Wrangler Rubicon.
